How long/well do you need to know someone before you consider them a friend?  How long will you go without contact before you no longer consider them a friend?

Being back at work feels weird.  I was, technically, only gone two days (not counting the weekend, I'd normally have been out for anyway) but I feel like I missed a lot.... Probably because neither of the two days was absence for fun....

Writer's Block: Department of Stereotypes [Nov. 16th, 2008|08:08 pm]

One of the most popular gender stereotypes is that women ask for directions while men would rather be lost than ask for help. In your personal experience, does this stereotype hold true?

Yes, yes, yes, at least in our relationship. Chris doesn't even follow the directions that the GPS gives. :p

histrionicalme
I'm finally on some antibiotics and hopefully that'll make me feel better. I went to the nurse and found out that the reason i've been so damned wiped out is that i have a sinus infection and have been running a fever. yesterday even though i didn't know that i was fevery, i was almost up to 101. I'll hopefully start feeling better tomorrow, because I've now been on my antibiotics for 1 day and it usually takes a day or two for them to start feeling better. I'm glad though, because maybe I won't be as exhausted anymore!! YAYY

So I'm starting to feel better about the whole TFA thing, even though I'm still bummed. I know that I've got options :)

I was rejected from Teach For America which makes me really sad, but I'll be ok. I really will be. I'm just slightly devastated at this moment in time :(

If you saw ME in a police car, what would you think I got arrested for? Answer me, then if you want, post to your own journal and see how many crimes you get accused of.

My great aunt, Rosanna, passed away this morning.

To many of us in the family, she was lost years ago.  She suffered from alzheimer's, and had been in a nursing home.  I hadn't seen her in nearly 10 years.... Some might think it cruel, but I just couldn't do it.  Everytime we went to Rumford, I'd think of her.  I'd think of going....

I feel weird.  There's a feel-able gap in time.  Between the last time I saw her (HER, the real her) and now.

I hope the funeral is closed casket...

There's a viewing/wake 5pm - 8pm on Thursday.  The funeral is Friday at 11am.

My back is killing me. I don't know why it happens, but periodically it just starts freaking out. Maybe it has to do with my bed, cause my nice bed needed to be replaced and I'm using my shitty dorm bed for a week. My back is killing me. Blech.  I want to go to bed but I need homework.
